Jerry & Tracy,

WOW!!  VegFest was once again an amazing and successful event, thanks in part to Natural Awakenings' sponsorship.  We had a recordbreaking 4200 people attend, making VegFest one of metro Detroit's top indoor events and the largest one-day, indoor vegetarian festival in the country.

VegMichigan and the VegFest Planning Committee extend their gratitude for your part in making this year’s event a terrific success.  We really appreciate your increased support this year, and as always, you were great to work with.

Many thanks for your participation and generous contributions, and we look forward to more great partnerships with you in the future.

Sincerely,

Cyndi A. Summers

About MHLAS

Michigan Healthy Living was formed in 2003 by Jerry and Tracy Neale as a way to incorporate...

complement and enhance their efforts to bring information, events and products to Michigan that support a healthy lifestyle in a natural, integrative/complementary and earth-friendly fashion. The corporation was registered as Michigan Healthy Living Enterprises, Inc.

The company has grown considerably and now publishes Natural Awakenings healthy living magazine that covers the entire East Michigan region, including Oakland, Macomb, Livingston, Genesee, Lapeer, Shiawassee and St. Clair counties. They have also produced many Michigan Healthy Living Expos over the years and currently sponsor numerous other related events. For more information on upcoming events in this community, visit MHLevents.com.

In April 2010, in an effort to more accurately reflect the mission and them of the company and its ancillaries, Michigan Healthy Living Enterprises, Inc., was renamed to Michigan Healthy Living and Sustainability, Inc. (MHLAS).

In July 2010, MHLAS launched a third local publication - Natural Awakenings of East Michigan Healthy Pet. Similar is style to the Greater Oakland/Macomb, Greater Genesee/Lapeer edition of Natural Awakenings, this new publication focused on keeping our animal friends health and sustainable...naturally. Because the "pet" magazine was bi-monthly, and we felt a monthly cycle would be more beneficial to readers and pets, we created a Healthy Pet Section in the Greater Oakland/Macomb magazine beginning in May 2013. For more information, visit NAHealthyPet.com.
